The Armenian Cultural Centre in Larnaca, Cyprus, is a home for Armenian culture, ethnology and art. The Centre presents and promotes the history and culture of the Armenian nation in general and the Armenian community of Cyprus in particular, with the aim of deepening the understanding and appreciation of the cultural heritage that bonds all Armenians. It also disseminates information regarding the positive contribution of Armenians to the economic, social and cultural development of Cyprus as well as other countries where Armenian communities exist.
In order to achieve the above objectives, the Centre organises conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, artistic and musical performances, as well as joint inter-communal activities with other Cypriot organisations. The Centre has a rich library of rare books, maps and journals, including 19th century publications.
The Armenian Cultural Centre belongs to the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and was created and is run by its Larnaca Chapter.
